Welcome to Social Kids ZA Social Kids is a free educational program designed to help children under 11 develop healthy, safe, and confident digital habits. By accessing or using Social Kids, you agree to the terms below.
We’ve kept these simple and transparent because trust matters.
At Social Kids, your child’s safety, well-being, and development come first.
We promise to:
- Put children’s best interests at the heart of everything we create
- Encourage healthy digital habits, not screen dependency
- Respect your family’s privacy and protect your child’s data
- We support, not replace, parental guidance and conversation
- Keep Social Kids accessible and purpose-driven
- Any donations made will help contribute to continuous improvement on our content as the digital world evolves
Social Kids is here to help families raise confident, kind, and digitally smart kids together.
1. Free Access & Purpose
Social Kids is offered free of charge to support families, schools, and communities in raising digitally aware children.
You have access to all 5 videos to be completed consecutively.
Activities should be completed after each adventure levels and parents can download the parent guide PDFs for more information.
We provide facilitator notes to assist with any questions that may arise. These can be accessed from the dashboard.
To receive physical printed sticky badges or receive personalised certificates, please contact Codey@Socialkids.co.za

- The program is for personal, educational, and non-commercial use only
- It may not be sold, licensed, or used for profit
- Free access does not reduce the value or ownership of the program

The program excludes any printing costs for activities, sending of Parental guides
A small printing fee and courier cost will be charged should you want to include the printed badge stickers for the experience. Contact the team for this based on the number of students.
· Donations are welcome to help us further support and research the digital world
Social Kids exists to create an impact, not replace parenting or schooling.
2. Who the Program Is For
- Designed for children under the age of 11, depending on their online maturity.
The ideal age is between 5 and 8 years old. - Children must use Social Kids with the consent and guidance of a parent, legal guardian or an educator.
- Parents remain responsible for supervising their child’s participation and learning
3. Learning Outcomes
Social Kids supports digital awareness and positive online behaviour, however:
- Every child learns differently
- We cannot guarantee specific outcomes
- The program does not replace professional advice, therapy, or formal education
It works best when learning continues at home or in the classroom and through conversation.
4. Content & Accuracy
We do our best to keep content relevant and up to date.
- Digital platforms change often, and some examples may evolve over time
- Content is reviewed regularly, but may not always reflect the very latest apps or trends
- Social Kids is not responsible for changes made by third-party platforms
5. Intellectual Property
All content remains the property of Social Kids.
This includes:
- Lessons, stories, curriculum, visuals, characters, and mascots (including Codey)
- Logos, branding, and downloadable materials.
- You may not copy, share, modify, or reproduce content without written permission.
6. Testimonials & Feedback
We love hearing how Social Kids helps your family / School!
By submitting feedback or testimonials, you agree that:
- Social Kids may use them for awareness, reporting, fundraising, or sponsorship (with or without attribution)
- Testimonials may be lightly edited for clarity (meaning will not be changed) You may request anonymity at any time.
7. Privacy & Child Safety
Your child’s safety comes first.
- We collect minimal personal information
- No child data is sold or shared with third parties
- Any data used for reporting or impact measurement is anonymised
- We follow responsible data protection practices

8. Platform Availability & Future Changes
To allow Social Kids to grow and improve:
- Features, content, or access may change over time
- Free access may be updated or expanded in the future
- New versions (such as Codey 2.0) or premium options may be introduced
Our mission remains the same: protecting and empowering children online.
Social Kids may not be used to promote:
- Harmful, abusive, or unsafe behaviour
- Bullying, discrimination, or exclusion
- Content that conflicts with child wellbeing and safety
We reserve the right to restrict access if the program is misused.
Social Kids provides educational guidance only.
- Use of the program is at the parent or guardian’s discretion
- We are not responsible for external websites, apps, or platforms referenced
- Social Kids is not liable for misuse or misunderstanding of the content
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
